Tesla management cancelled plans to bring employees back to work at their Fremont, California plant. The decision was taken after Alameda county, where the city of Fremont is located, opted to extend COVID-19 stay-at-home orders through May. Tesla’s Fremont factory has been shut down since March 23, after being labeled as a non-essential business by the Alameda County Health Order.
