Elon Musk is by far the most outspoken leader in the technology world. Usually, CEOs study their every word before uttering it or sharing it online. Elon, on the other hand, is spontaneous, down-to-earth, and down right hilarious. Of course, some critics describe him as controversial or reckless, but this audacity and impulsivity is what gives him a unique-and odd-personality. Check out our 17 best tweets by Elon Musk.

The Pyramids

Last year, Elon tweeted “Aliens built the pyramids obv”, and he kept going on about in the same thread, engaging with followers.

He doesn’t look like someone who is just fooling around, as he provides articles and research. He seems quite interested in Egyptology.
A few months later, the Minister of International Cooperation of Egypt, Rania Al-Mashat, replied to Musk, inviting him and SpaceX to go see the pyramids up close. She told him that she follows him and his work, and she’s excited for his visit. Will he surprise us with a visit to Egypt this year? Who knows!

Food fasting

This is what Elon told his friend at college: “if there was a way that I could not eat, so I could work more, I would not eat. I wish there was a way to get nutrients without sitting down for a meal”. Imagine that he has been a workaholic ever since college, anxious to achieve his goals, and hating every wasted minute that distracts him from his work!

Not an alien

Back in 2016, Elon Musk tweeted, out of nowhere, negating that he is not an alien, but he used to be one! How random is that?

The Cyborg Dragon

Musk tweeted, again out of the blue, “Oh btw I’m building a cyborg dragon”. Someone replied saying it’s about time, and then Elon replies the following: “I know … such an underserved market”! Is this guy hilarious or what?

The Pandemic

Elon does not take the pandemic seriously, and yes, that is controversial and perhaps upsetting to some people who said that he is at odds with reality. Yet, the way he puts thoughts into words, now that is funny. He said that the Coronavirus panic is dumb, and then went ahead and posted a meme regarding the toilet paper madness. That was on March 22, a bit before it has been officially a pandemic.

April’s Fools

On April 1, 2018 Elon started a series of tweets, building up suspense. His first tweet says, “Important news in a few hours”. Some of his followers asked if this is an April Fool’s joke, though the majority was serious about it. And it went on and on.

Some knew he was pulling their leg, but many others fell for it. What kind of CEO goes around pranking the world? No one. Only Elon Musk. Why? Because he’s amazing, that’s why!

Teslaquila is a brilliant, staggering idea. Unexpected to the world. It sounds good, it looks good, and I bet it tastes great. Right after April Fool’s pranks, Elon tweeted the following, along with this photo:

And that is how he introduced the Teslaquila. If that’s not awesome, I don’t know what is!

Last month, Elon tweeted: “Bitcoin is my safe word”, followed by “Just kidding, who needs a safe word anyway?!” Some critics say that he discusses too much of his personal life on twitter. It is subtle, absolutely not vulgar though it has sexual connotations, it is super funny!

You’re an idiot

A few years back, Jarrett Walker, a public transit planning and policy consultant, spoke ill of Elon on Twitter. Obviously, Musk couldn’t just ignore it. His reply was obviously impulsive, and people were outrageous. The screenshot will portray it best.

He automatically apologized, apparently feeling bad for just blurting out what first came to mind. But that is what makes Elon Musk who he is. No beating around the bush nor sugarcoating words.

Crazy on twitter

Maybe if your friend tweeted something like that, it would be normal, but coming from Elon Musk, these tweets are just magnificent. I love his justification, that he’s always been crazy on Twitter. He knows it and he doesn’t care because he’s having fun.

Have you seen kids playing Fornite nowadays? It is insane. Totally addictive. So Elon found a solution!

I love anime

What can I say? The guy loves his anime and he loves bitcoin!

Totally weird

So Elon posted a gif on Twitter and someone replied telling him that he’s weird; here’s what Musk replied: “Don’t want to blow your mind, but I’m pretty weird. It’s time the world knew”. He embraces his weirdness and in a sarcastic way, and that is wonderful.

The enemy

Robert Wiblin tweeted: “It is kind of amazing that Elon Musk wakes up with billions of dollars, a space colonisation company and creative genius girlfriend, and still decides to ruin his mornings exactly the same way I do – arguing with idiots on social media.” Elon Musk nonchalantly replied, “The enemy of my enemy is myself”. Now it’s solving riddles.

I’m not so sure if this is the funniest tweet, by far, but take a look for yourself.

Technological Breakthrough

He keeps things spiced up all the time.

Bonehead questions

Elon Musk’s peak of bluntness happened as a Wall Street analyst was asking him questions, regarding Tesla. He interrupts the analyst and says, “boring bonehead questions are not cool…These questions are so dry. They’re killing me.” Unfortunately, people were outraged. Tesla’s stock dropped 8% hours after the incident. Musk continued to slam the media via Twitter, describing them as hypocritical, sensitive, and ethically compromised. However, no CEO dares to speak his mind the way Elon did; he doesn’t polish words, and that’s what makes him human, in spite of being the richest man on Earth.

Elon Musk one of the rare public figures, who are ridiculously rich, have so much going on for them, and yet he finds time to follow up on his own social media-not an assistant-he makes people laugh, sometimes even makes our day with his witty sarcastic posts, and what is amazing is that he does not take himself too seriously. He is friendly and friendly, responsible and successful. He is indeed one of a kind. To know more about Elon Musk’s endeavours with Tesla and SpaceX, follow our news on www.followelonmusk.com
